ME 495/695 - Interferometry for Engineers

 This course is designed to give students the optical background to understand and design modern interferometry systems. The course is broken down into three major sections:


  • Optics
  • Classical Interferometry
  • Modern Interferometers

The course concludes with a project including design, fabrication, fielding, and data analysis of interferometers on a shock physics experiment.
