My current work includes fiber optic system design and testing in the Production Support Labs for various defense-related projects at Boeing Defense, Space & Security. Prior work experience includes optical design and fielding work at Mission Support and Test Services supporting the nuclear weapons complex and work as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where I aided graduate students in the Active Materials and Smart Living Laboratory focusing on soft robotics research. My past academic work includes defense of my dissertation entitled "Mechanoelectrical Behavior in Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Based Soft Polymer Gel Smart Sensors of Soft Robotic Applications" focusing on characterization and mathematical modeling of a novel class of soft robotic sensors as well as teaching a few courses in the College of Engineering.
